QRCA Global Outreach Scholarship
Applications are now being sought from candidates for the 2010 QRCA Global Outreach Scholarship. The QRCA Global Outreach Scholarship will be awarded annually to one recipient who will receive:
- free conference registration for the QRCA Annual Conference in Philadelphia, PA, USA, from 13 to 15 October 2010; and
- reimbursement of up to US $1000 travel and accommodation costs associated with attending the conference.

Qualifying Criteria
Preference will be given to applicants who fulfill the following criteria:
- Resident of a country outside the USA, UK and Canada
- Have completed University level degree study
- Currently employed in qualitative research and have been employed for 1 to 2 years in qualitative research
- Fluent in English language (oral and written)
- Have not attended any previous QRCA Annual Conference or been selected as a speaker at the QRCA Annual Conference
- Current member of QRCA, or qualified non-member
Submitting an Application
The QRCA Global Outreach Scholarship Guidelines provide detailed information to potential applicants. To be successful, applications will need to be submitted in the required format and in compliance with these guidelines.
In addition to the Application Form, applications must also include a one page Personal Statement from the applicant, and two Referee Forms completed by referees in support of the application. The Personal Statement and Referee Forms will provide the most important criteria for selection of the successful recipient.

Qualifying applicants are now invited to submit their applications. The closing date for applications is Friday, June 4, 2010. All applications and supporting documentation must be received at QRCA International Headquarters, in hard copy form (by post or by fax), no later than midnight (GMT) on this date.
Application Process
All applications received by the closing date will be reviewed, evaluated and ranked by the International Committee in accordance with the application process. The Scholarship will be awarded based on the quality of the application and supporting documentation, and the applicant’s ability to meet eligibility requirements and qualifying criteria. The recipient of the 2010 QRCA Global Outreach Scholarship will be notified by July 12, 2010.
