The relaxed, upbeat atmosphere of our Thursday gala is an excellent opportunity to Communicate, Rejuvenate and Celebrate with colleagues you have known for years or have just met. It is yet another opportunity for QRCs to socialize, network and cultivate even more ideas for the coming year!
This lavish soirée will take place on the Renaissance Esmeralda’s Rose Lawn–a fabulous outdoor setting. Theme parties are a fun way to celebrate, and we feel that this theme of classic Hollywood will capture the essence and panache that is truly Palm Springs.
Excited? We invite everyone to add to the glamour and come in costume… Dress up as your favorite classic Hollywood star, perhaps your inner movie star, with a signature jacket or a gown. Or channel some old-Hollywood style as a guest to the soirée with a few key costume pieces such as long gloves, a scarf, sequins, fedora, bow tie, a sparkly brooch or faux jewels… For those who don’t wish to be fashionably late, there will be time to grab your costume from your room after the last set of workshops on Thursday.
QRCs have been known to get into our theme nights. There’s no telling whom or what we’ll see from QRCs and various QRCA Chapters in Palm Springs. Get ready for some fun!
Begin the evening with a Hollywood martini (or another favorite beverage) during the cocktail hour. With a signature drink in hand and some great conversation, find a favorite Hollywood star to have dinner with. The buffet dinner will feature a superb selection of entrees and scrumptious desserts.
 Our headline entertainment will be legendary Palm Springs resident, Frank Sinatra – well, not Frank himself of course, but an incredible look-alike, sound-alike performer who will present a comedy and musical tribute to Frank Sinatra. He will be joined by guest appearances from the likes of Marilyn Monroe and Liza Minnelli.
After the dinner show, a DJ will lead us onto the dance floor where QRCs can dance into the night with a mix of current Top 40 songs as well as classic hits.
So put on your dancing shoes and hoof it to the music, or just socialize with friends around the table. This event will be one of the highlights of the conference. You won’t want to miss this elegant affair to remember!
