Meet the 2010 QRCA Global Outreach Scholarship Recipient

We are very pleased to introduce you to the recipient of the 2010 QRCA Global Outreach Scholarship, Sophie van Neck, from Belgium.

Sophie is currently working as a project manager/moderator within a team of 12 qualitative researchers at InSites Consulting. She has a strong academic background, having completed her studies in Multilingual Business Communication, American Studies and Political Science at Ghent and Antwerp Universities. Sophie is particularly interested in the areas of online ethnographic research and social media nethography. She feels the Scholarship will be “one of the most exciting experiences of the year and it would be a perfect start of going to international conferences” and she is very much looking forward to meeting everyone at the QRCA Annual Conference in Philadelphia in October.
