QRCA Seeks Nominations for 2010 Rising Star Award!

The QRCA Board is seeking your input in finding this year’s recipient of the Rising Star Award.  This award recognizes a newer member who is making a difference for QRCA and its members.  Please review the following details and submit your recommendation by the Friday, August 20 deadline.

Goal:
To provide recognition and incentive to QRCA members who have less tenure with the Association and yet have made significant contributions.

Guidelines for selection of candidates:
Preference will be given to candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Member of QRCA 7 years or less
• Under 40 years of age
• Have made significant contributions to the Association (e.g. Chapter leadership, Committee leadership or contributions, SIG or task force leadership or contributions, etc.)

The Recipient will:

• Receive a beautiful star award and an invitation to attend the Past President’s reception at the Annual Conference.
• Agree to write an article for Connections about their QRCA experience.
