The need for relevant, rigorous and innovative qualitative methods has never been greater - but the challenges in leading this research have also never been more numerous. What can qualitative researchers learn from the past to shape the methodologies, disciplines, philosophies, and theories needed for the future? How can we adapt our methods to the global challenges, healthcare innovations, and technologies, we now face?
