This Qcast will focus on real world examples of using qualitative mini-communities to uncover insights and drive decision-making. Ilka Kuhagen will share two successful case studies that include:

  • Combining online and mobile data collection with a longer-term approach (9 months)
  • Utilizing the full qualitative toolbox online – projective techniques, self-guided ethnography, ideation and co-creation
  • Global reach – truly understanding how consumers are different (and similar) country to country / region to region

Speaker: Ilka Kuhagen

Ilka Kuhagen is an independent researcher and consultant, based in Munich, Germany. After several years in business consultancy she founded IKM in 1994. IKM specializes on qualitative research within business-to-business and international research. Clients of IKM are usually international corporations that focus the European market. Ilka started very early using online tools for qualitative research and loves to combine methodologies to best address different target groups. Since 2014 Ilka is also an approved facilitator for creative workshops and is also the Co-Chair of the QRCA International Chapter and the QRCA International Committee.
