The theme for this meeting is “Diving Deeper into Online Communities.” Ted Kendall of Triple Scoop Premium Research will be flying in from Denver to share his presentation from last October’s QRCA conference. Titled “Sometimes it takes a Village: Practical Lessons for Conducting communities,” his presentation was well-received for sharing so many helpful and specific techniques and learnings. In addition, Katrina Noelle has trialed and reviewed a number of different online platform providers during the last three months and will be providing insights from her experiences.

The meeting will be held at the brand-new VuPoint facility in South San Francisco. Public transportation is available and you can reach out to Jen Berkley-Jackson (jberkley@theinsightadvantage.com) if you'd like details on that.

Also, as you know, the SF QRCA chapter holds an annual "Tech Day," where we can all see and try some of the latest technology available for our field. This year's Tech Day will be held on Friday, September 11. Please save that date as well! And if you know of any technology suppliers who might like to present to our group, please contact me (allison@vatoca.com.) We are looking for both research-specific vendors as well as technology-based tools and services that help make it easier to run a small business.

As Silicon Valley's chapter of QRCA, we are well-positioned to be thought leaders on technology for qualitative research, so let's make this year's Tech Day better than ever!
