We are delighted that the first in our stellar 2015 lineup is a presentation by Len Ferman, who has spent 25 years managing innovation for Fortune 100 companies.  For the last 18 years Len has worked for Bank of America, where he led the front end of innovation and served as head of ideation.  Now, as Managing Director of Ferman Innovation, he helps companies generate and evaluate breakthrough growth ideas.

Innovation expert Len Ferman will provide a primer on the innovation process and show how qualitative research can play a critical role at each step.  Adopting Len’s approach can help you deepen your client relationships and create new revenue streams for your practice by providing value-added qualitative research services.

  • How to partner with clients’ innovation teams to ensure qualitative research is a part of their process
  • How to prepare stimulus for brainstorming sessions based on qualitative research
  • How to test, refine, and cultivate winning concepts after a brainstorming session

About the Presenter:

len fermanLen Ferman, Managing Director of Ferman Innovation, holds two Masters Degrees from Duke University (M.B.A. in Marketing and a Masters in Economics).  He is a certified ideation facilitator who helps companies generate and evaluate breakthrough growth ideas.  Len developed the Idea TournamentTM process to select the optimal ideas for development.

During his 25 years in the corporate sector he has been instrumental in developing financial products/services and was part of the team that launched the highly acclaimed AT&T Universal Card.  Len launched Visa TravelMoney, one of the world’s first prepaid cards, for Barnett Bank, and the Business Check Card product for Bank of America.  He has been instrumental in the development of many online and mobile banking initiatives at Bank of America.

Len is also a multiple gold medalist at the World “Joggling” Championships (running while juggling).
