Come join our first inaugural Chapter meeting taking place on 3rd – 5th March!
We are delighted to announce our first meeting since the formation of the International Chapter.
“POST APARTHEID CONSUMERISM IN SOUTH AFRICA”
Hear Samantha Loggenberg from South Africa on how various forms of freedom have impacted consumption in South Africa, as well as how these trends have evoked changing psychographics.
Even if you don’t expect to be specifically involved in research in South Africa, there are interesting topics discussed which have relevance to everyone:
- Fragmentation of consumer market
- Exploring younger consumers, a very conflicted segment
- How to factor multicultural pluralism into research
- Analysis of a powerful TV advert which successfully addresses these issues
We ran a live Virtual Chapter meeting on this topic before Christmas but so many people were unable to attend due to the time of year and asked for another opportunity to hear this that we are expanding it into an extended format easier to attend. Definitely one to not be missed!
Importantly, you will also have the opportunity to introduce yourself to fellow Chapter members so we can start to learn what each of us offers.
The meeting will take place over three days 3rd to 5th March to allow everyone from any time zone and with any scheduling limitations to attend.
It will take the form of an on-line Bulletin Board hosted by Focus Forums. You can log in at any time, and as many times as you wish, using your personal log in details.
We encourage attendees to add comments and discussion, and Sam will log on across the period to answer any further questions.
Just drop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org requesting to join this meeting, and then a few days before the meeting we will send your personal login details.
Please do try to join us for this exciting first meeting!
