We are all so busy working, we often don’t spend the time we should on our business. Therefore, we decided to create a one-day event to focus on this important topic. We have invited a range of professionals to answer all your questions: Should you be an LLC or DBA? What kind of insurance do you need? What type of cyber-security issues should you be concerned with? Are there any write-offs you’re missing? What about those complicated contracts - what should you watch out for? How should you be planning for your future? Please feel free to send questions prior to the event.
A snapshot of the day:
10.00-10.30 pm - Arrivals, coffee and chitchat
10.30-12.00pm - Cyber-security expert, Shane Purcell, CEO of Frontline Inc.
12:00-12:30 - Lunch is served
12.30-2.30 pm - Panel with privacy lawyer, Alan Friel, and accountant/lawyer, Joan Roberts.
2.30-2.45 pm - Break
2.45-4.30 pm - Panel with Bill Holden, insurance broker, and Lisa Darin, senior financial planner, Merrill Lynch
4.30 – on: Continue the discussion over drinks and dining. (We have a feeling we will all need a drink.) We each pay our own way for this. Location TBD
This is a Members-Only meeting - If you are not currently a member of QRCA, now is the time to sign up and get your sh*t together for 2016 on this front as well!
We encourage you to register now. Click the link to access the EventBrite Page. (Please RSVP even if you plan on paying at the door; FIRM deadline is 1/19 at noon.)

We look forward to seeing you!
