Liz Van Patten, Vanpatten.liz@gmail.com

Quirk’s liaison Jen Dale reported that the Quirk's Event is scheduled for February 23-24, 2016 at the Brooklyn Marriott in New York. Billed as "an inclusive event created for the entire marketing research and insights community," this February will mark its second event; more than 1000 attendees and 100 exhibitors are expected to convene. Quirk's has provided ten $100 discounts for QRCA members to attend. We are currently accepting names to be included in that raffle on the Forum, so if you'd like to go, put your name in the hat to get $100 off! Deadline to register for the raffle is December 10, 2015.

Jane Mount, liaison with MRA, noted that QRCA member Steve Kalter of Acumen Marketing Research led an informative presentation on the Top 10 Projective Techniques for the recent NEMRA (New England Marketing Research Association) Fall Conference. Local QRCA members enjoy the same member discounts to attend NEMRA conferences as MRA members do. Several QRCA members attended the fall conference — which enjoyed a “sell-out” record number of attendees.
