Sonia Patwardhan

My name is Sonia Patwardhan.  I have 10 years of global multinational (Unilever, Heinz) experience in advertising, qualitative research and brand planning and an MBA degree in marketing from University of Pittsburgh.  I am currently working as an independent qualitative research consultant and attending school at Stanford University.  I am also an entrepreneur and started my own art venture a few years ago which I continue to do on the side.  In the last 10 years, I have lived in 5 cities and 2 countries.

I now live in one of the most beautiful parts of the world - the San Francisco Bay area.  I have  two kids and one husband.:)  And, for fun, I love to hike, dance, do yoga and play with my kids.

Peter Spear

I am an independent brand strategist and qualitative research partner living in Hudson, New York.

I began my career out in San Francisco with boutique strategy firms TATTOO and HARPOON and have been on my own as a strategic brand listener since 2002.  I was an English major in college. I believe deeply in face-to-face listening and observing, and our innate creativity.

My partner, Katherine, and I are expecting our first child this year.  In my spare time I ride the beautiful roads of the Hudson Valley, take photographs of the alleys of Hudson, and read. Here is a link to Peter’s photos:

I am joining QRCA to expand my professional network, meet new people, and develop new relationships and clients.

QRCA Member to Teach Weeklong Workshop on Questionnaire Design

Jessica Broome, PhD,

Some quallies may think questionnaire design isn’t relevant to them, but sharpening these skills can…

  • Make your screeners sharper;
  • Help with incorporating surveys into online communities;
  • Allow you to better integrate quant and qual methods.

Consider spending a week in beautiful Ann Arbor, Michigan this summer for my workshop, Questionnaire Design in the Real World.

The course will give an overview of best practice in questionnaire design, rooted in the survey methodology literature. Students will apply these techniques to real world problems, and walk away with enhanced questionnaire design skills ready to use!
