Introductory Membership

Cost: FREE for first-time QRCA members only

  • This free membership is available only for first-time QRCA members and the offer and Introductory membership runs only through the end of 2016. Act now to try out QRCA as a member!

 

Individual Membership

Cost (if you join during these months)
January-June: $355 ; July-September: $210 ; October-December (includes following year): $325

  • Professionals, or those in training who design, conduct, analyze or support the conduct and analysis of primary qualitative research and function as research suppliers and/or consultants.
  • Individuals who are employed by, or are in graduate studies at, an academic institution and who, themselves, instruct and/or specialize in the conduct and analysis of qualitative research.
  • You do not work for an advertising agency, product manufacturer or work primarily in purchasing and/or outsourcing qualitative research services.

 

Candidate Membership

Cost (if you join during these months)
January-June: $355 ; July-September: $210 ; October-December (includes following year): $325

  • You are in training to design, conduct and analyze qualitative research;
  • You do not work for an advertising agency, product manufacturer or work primarily in purchasing and/or outsourcing qualitative research services.

 

Retired Membership

Cost: $160 (before January 1, 2017); $175 (after January 1, 2017)

  • Individuals who have maintained at least seven (7) consecutive years in good standing as a QRCA member
  • Be retired from any professional practice; and
  • Be age 62 or above for the entirety of the calendar year; and
  • Be willing to accept a "Retired” designation on all membership listings and elsewhere as determined by the Board Of Directors.
  • Members are not considered retired if they no longer are qualitative research consultants but are involved in any other professional practice.

 

Discounted International Membership

Cost: $260 (before January 1, 2017); $280 (after January 1, 2017)

  • The aim of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association is to have a truly international organization. In order to make the membership fee more equitable for all, QRCA offers a discounted rate for *qualitative researchers in those countries with a per capita GDP of less than $30,000. Information on per capita rankings is available at the CIA World Fact Book.

 

Graduate Student Membership

Cost: FREE for up to 2 years

  • You are in graduate studies at an academic institution and personally instruct and/or specialize in the conduct and analysis of qualitative research;
  • Not currently employed full time
  • Student membership is limited to 2 years or upon graduation and is FREE of charge
