DE&I Task Force
Advance Credits: 1
Note: Rescheduled from August 26th due to host conflicts.
What’s #BlackMRX Chat? Think of it as a monthly industry networking group organized around our shared ethnic identity and profession in the insights and research spaces.
We invite professionals and students who identify as African American, Black, or of African or Caribbean descent in the insights spaces to join a monthly, private group discussion where we build community while talking about issues of importance to us
as black and brown individuals.
In each session, we’ll chat about a specific topic while leaving time for open discussion and networking.
- Our guest this month: Dr. Russell Robinson, Founder of Amplified Research. Russell will be joining us to talk on how to find our voice to respond to uncomfortable situations in the workplace such as microaggressions and sensitive
questions on race.
- And don't forget your HW assignment!: Challenge yourself to do something new that benefits your career or side hustle - whether in a super small or larger way - before our session
You do not need to be a QRCA member to participate. And #BlackMRX Chat isn’t just for consumer researchers – whether you’re a UX researcher or a sociology grad student, a strategist at an ad agency or a research consultant, client-side marketer, an academic
or you work at a focus group facility, we look forward to connecting and building a supportive Black community with you.

The QRCA DE&I Task Force was formed in 2019 and announced by the Board of Directors in January 2020. This group, comprised of QRCA member volunteers, is charged with developing strategies that foster racial and gender diversity and inclusion within
QRCA and the broader market research industry. It seeks to understand what is and is not working using a human-centered, data-driven approach while encouraging understanding of different groups and social accountability for change among leadership
and membership. Visit qrca.org/Diversity or email email@example.com for more information.
