About the Presenters:
Annie Pettit, PhD, FMRIA is a research methodologist who specializes in survey design and analysis, data quality, and innovative methods. She is an invited speaker at research conferences around the world and has published numerous refereed and industry articles. Her awards include a 2015 Ginny Valentine Award, 2014 MRIA Award of Outstanding Merit, and 2013 ESOMAR Best Methodological Paper. Shira's focus has been to find the best answers to clients' questions and objectives, regardless of methodology. Thus, she has made it her mission to become versed in as many as possible in order to become a fluid methodologist. Shira has cultivated a well-rounded background in market research across methodologies and categories through her experience in media, analytics, and consumer insights on the agency side at Mediacom, quantitative, qualitative, and neuromarketing on the publisher side at A+E Networks, and currently as an independent researcher for the last 5 years in qualitative, quantitative, and ethnographic methodologies.
In 2020, Shira was awarded a QRCA Young Professionals Grant, in recognition of her accomplishments and future potential as influencer in the market research space.
