Lead Generation for QRCs and Small Businesses
Presented by Greg Bashaw

(Even if you don't do Lead Generation for your company, I (Sidney) sat in on one of his talks and it was really good stuff to think about and continue to develop in the business, research and marketing world)

Though you may know these business terms, the outcome from this training and discussion topic is something new and valuable. Check it out:

A “Lead” is a specific person (not organization) you have identified with the interest, ability and authority to purchase your service. “Lead Generation” begins with a happy assumption that there are a certain number of people right now who would buy services if you had the opportunity to tell them what you do. There could be hundreds, even thousands, of such people!

The question is: How do you figure out who those people are?

Lead Generation is NOT selling. Rather, it is primarily an act of “gathering information” about the market. Once you have discovered who – exactly – has a need or interest in what you are doing, THEN you can attempt to persuade some of those people to take action (i.e. sell).

In this training, we will discuss how to identify those people interested in what you’ve got. Once you figure this out, you’ll be able to build a “Lead Generation Machine” that produces consistent results. The goal is to get to the point where you only need to worry about taking care of clients, rather than stressing about whether you will have enough clients.
