QRCA Annual Conference: Let the good times ‘bowl’ in New Orleans this year!

Confererence Co-chairs:
Abby Leafe,
Jay Zaltzman,

Abby and Jay Photostrip
Conference co-chairs Jay Zaltzman and Abby Leafe test out the photo booth at Fulton Alley.

Veteran QRCA conference attendees know that we’ve had all manner of fun at our evening events – from dinner cruises to costume parties to dancing under stars. But this year we are moving into uncharted territory with a Thursday night Lounge-n-Bowl! You’re going to love this – no "buts" about it.

  • But aren’t bowling alleys kind of…icky? Not this one. Forget everything you thought you knew about bowling alleys; this spot is more like a chic cocktail lounge that also just happens to have 12 bowling lanes. Think luxurious leather sofas, chandeliers, and gorgeous reclaimed wood.
  • But I don’t feel like bowling! No problem! Admire the art on the walls from local New Orleans artists, dance on the spacious dance floor, take some candids with an old friend in the free photo booth, or enjoy a cocktail with a new pal in one of the quiet nooks away from the action.
  • But my bowling shoes make me look like a dork! Leave your thick socks at home and strap on your fanciest footwear, because bowling shoes are optional at Fulton Alley during private parties. (That’s right, QRCA has rented the entire venue for the night.)
  • But bowling gives me an appetite. Excellent – you’d best come hungry. Enjoy craft cuisine with a local New Orleans flair created by Executive Chef Mike Niremberg. (Gumbo, beignets, and more!)
  • Shucks, you’re making me thirsty! Did we mention that it’s open bar?

Fulton Alley [] is located mere steps away from the Hilton Riverside, so it will be easy to get to for all attendees. See you in New Orleans!

The speed at which the US healthcare landscape is changing has accelerated. The impact can be seen and felt across the four largest stakeholders in the US Healthcare system – payers, physicians or providers, patients and manufacturers.  As the US healthcare system restructures, marketing researchers will provide answers to critical business questions. Researchers who adopt a 360 degree view of the rapidly changing landscape will deliver the most actionable data and provide greatest value to their stakeholders.

All these critical stakeholders will be represented throughout The 2014 PMRG Institute. Conference highlights include:

David NashDistinguished Keynote Speaker – David Nash, MD
Population Health - No Outcome, No Income

Dr. Nash will highlight several core components suggested to help navigate this new landscape, including collaboration with thought leaders, embracing new measures of quality, appreciating the need for total transparency in pricing, and recognizing the central role of applied health economics in our shared future.
