Austria’s capital offers a unique blend of imperial traditions and stunning architecture. Famous for its many cultural events, classical concerts, imperial architecture, coffee houses, cozy wine taverns, and the very special Viennese charm. Vienna is situated in the northeast of Austria and lies on the banks of the majestic Danube river.
The city is known for its Imperial palaces, including Schönbrunn, the Habsburgs’ summer residence. In the MuseumsQuartier district, historic and contemporary buildings display works by Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt and other artists.
Spring in Vienna is full of color with temperatures remaining quite cool but comparatively mild to those of winter. The average high temperature is 50 degrees Fahrenheit at the start of spring.
