Involved in Qualitative Research for 5 + years

Anyone involved in any aspect of qualitative research for more than 5 years is invited to join.

Involved in Qualitative Research for fewer than 5 years

Anyone involved in any aspect of qualitative research for less than 5 years is invited to join.
Renewable once; NewQ membership is available for two years. After that, membership transfers to Individual Membership.

Live in a country with lower per capita GDP

In order to make membership more equitable for all, QRCA offers adjusted rates for qualitative researchers in countries with lower per capita GDPs.
Adjustments start for those in countries with per capita GDP of $35,000. Information on per capita rankings is available at the CIA World Fact Book
The rate will be calculated automatically upon application.
- GDP Per Capita Income: $35,000-$30,000
  20% Discount; QRCA Membership Rate: $260 USD
- GDP Per Capita Income: $29,999-$25,000
  30% Discount; QRCA Membership Rate: $227.50 USD
- GDP Per Capita Income: $24,999-$20,000
  40% Discount; QRCA Membership Rate: $195 USD
- GDP Per Capita Income: $19,999- $700
  50% Discount; QRCA Membership Rate: $162.50 USD

Aged 65 years or older and in qual research 25+ years

In order to qualify as Emeritus, the member needs to be:
- 65 years or older; and
- 25+ years as a QRCA member; or
- 25+ years in qualitative research
Members receive full member benefits and half price for membership dues and national conference registrations.

Involved in any aspect of Qualitative Research

Graduate students involved in any aspect of qualitative research are invited to join.
Cannot be currently employed full time.
Renewable once; Graduate Student membership is available for two years. After that, membership transfers to NewQ membership.

Discounted membership for individuals within the same company

Discounted membership is available for 3 or more individuals within the same company
Note that there will be one primary contact that will pay membership dues for Company Membership
The first member pays full price and any additional members (2+) will get 25% off their membership dues
If the company registers 3 or more attendees for the conference, they will receive a 15% discount off of each subsequent registration after the initial registration
Membership includes credit towards non-annual conference content on Qualology learning platform; credit amount based on number of employee members:
- $300 (companies with 3-4 members)
- $500 (companies with 5-6 members)
- $700 (companies with 7+ members)
