2027 QRCA Annual Conference:

Call for Proposals

We invite colleagues to submit proposals for presentations, hands-on workshops, and roundtable sessions. We are seeking content that helps attendees reconnect with fundamentals, recharge their practices, and reinvent how they work.

The QRCA Annual Conference is dedicated to qualitative research and the people who power it. Our attendees include qualitative moderators and researchers, consultants and suppliers, insight leaders, client-side research buyers, and hybrid practitioners across a wide range of experience levels - from those who are newer to the industry to seasoned experts. While we welcome evolving and integrated approaches, submissions should be grounded in qualitative research rather than quant-focused content.

Submission formats

Presentation - 45 minutes total · 35 min presentation + 10 min Q&A

What do you want to teach, inform, or illuminate? Share a perspective, finding, or approach that is valuable to the qualitative research community.

Workshop - 60 minutes total · 40 min teaching + 20 min practice

More hands-on than a presentation. Teach a concept and give participants time to put theory into practice.

The call for Roundtable leaders and topic ideas will be launched separately, in September.

Submissions should address one or more of the following:

Guidelines

QRCA is also a uniquely generous community built on the open exchange of ideas, practical wisdom, and shared learning. The conference is not a sales platform. Sessions that primarily promote, market, or sell products, services, agencies, or proprietary tools will not be considered. We encourage proposals that educate, inspire, challenge thinking, and elevate the qualitative research profession in a spirit of contribution rather than self-promotion.

You may submit one proposal per format (one presentation, one workshop) - we want your best idea!
