QRCA honors and recognizes its members through special awards, grants and its Advance status program.

Awards

Each year QRCA honors their members with the following awards in recognition for their service to the organization.

  • Impact Award

    This award is given to a non-Board volunteer member for exemplary service that has impacted QRCA within the past year.

  • President's Award

    This award is given to a non-Board volunteer member for exemplary service and dedication to QRCA. It recognizes significant and ongoing contributions to QRCA.

  • Rising Star Award

    Introduced in 2009, this award recognizes QRCA’s newer, younger members for their leadership and significant contribution to QRCA.

Legacy Awards & Scholarships

  • Lloyd J. Harris Memorial Scholarship

    The Lloyd J. Harris Memorial Scholarship Fund makes it possible for talent who demonstrate strong potential in becoming outstanding qualitative researchers and future QRCA leaders to receive complimentary formal moderation training.

  • The Naomi Henderson Legacy Awards

    The Naomi Henderson Legacy Awards celebrate Naomi’s two interrelated loves: Teaching and training qualitative market research methods; and upskilling students with her qualitative market research teaching.

  • Maryanne Pflug Spirit Award

    The award upholds and celebrates QRCA’s cultural heritage of collegiality among members and commitment to the organization, and is awarded to a member who demonstrates "spirit” in the association.

    Young Professionals Grant

    The Young Professionals Grant (YPG) program is offered to help advance young qualitative researchers’ careers via access to networking and educational sessions at the QRCA’s Annual Conference.

  • Global Qualitative Researchers' Grant

    This grant is given out to qualitative researchers from outside the USA, UK or Canada. Each Scholarship includes free registration to the QRCA Annual Conference, up to $1,250 USD for travel and accommodation expenses, and free membership to QRCA.
