New Professional

If you have less than five years of experience in qualitative research, you qualify for a discounted rate for your first two years as a QRCA member.

Global Professional

We want to make access to the QRCA equitable for people from countries with lower per capita GNIs (Gross National Income). Your eligibility is determined using the World Bank Country Income Classification. Discounts are eligible for 1 and 2 year Individual memberships/renewals only.

• Low Income Countries: <$1,175 GNI - 50% Discount
• Lower-Middle Income Countries: $1,176 - $4,635 GNI - 50% Discount
• Upper-Middle Income Countries: $4,366 - $14,375 GNI - 25% Discount

Student

Students and graduate students involved in qualitative research or interested in a qualitative research career are encouraged to join the QRCA at a deeply discounted rate. To qualify for student membership you cannot be employed full-time.

• $35 USD per year for up to two years (after that they can still apply for the New Professional rate!)

Emeritus

At the QRCA we believe experience matters, so we reward these members with a special rate. People 65 of age or older with over 25 years of qualitative research experience or over 25 years of QRCA membership. Emeritus members receive full QRCA benefits and significant discounts on conference tickets.

• $205 USD per year, no limit

Company

Research teams at companies or agencies may qualify for group discounts on QRCA membership, conferences, and resources. A company discount is available to teams of three or more. One primary contact is responsible for keeping information up to date and paying fees.

Membership Discounts:

• First member pays the full Individual Rate ($385 USD)
• Additional members, two or more, receive a 25% discount ($288.75 USD)

If three or more members of the team register for a QRCA Annual or Worldwide Conference, the first team member pays full price, but additional members (two or more) receive a 15% discount.

Membership includes credit towards professional development materials on the Qualology Learning Platform [link to Qualology]; the credit amount is based on the number of team members:

• $300 USD credit for companies with 3-4 members
• $500 USD credit for companies with 5-6 members
• $700 USD credit for companies with 7 or more members

Directions for how to add team members to a Company Membership Package will be provided after the primary member registers.
